Paradise island.

My family and I spent Christmas in Lanzarote. I know, I know... At least try to hold in your gasps. When I was telling people they were all so shocked that I wasn't bothered about being away from home at Christmas but it's really not strange at all.

Sunbathing on Christmas Day seems like it'd be weird to people from England but I loved it. Christmas Day just consists of spending far too much money on food and presents but that is what Christmas is about for some people. 

Escaping the rush of Christmas is just what we needed.
